This is an original acrylic painting titled "Modern Antique." I experimented with a lot of new techniques and mediums. The texture is from torn dried modeling paste that was re-gesso'ed to the canvas to give it a really organic feel. The clean black lines represent the modern and contrasts the background and texture representing the ancient.
This painting is on 20 in x 24 in gallery wrapped, gallery depth canvas. The sides are painted and it is ready the hang on your wall! This piece would bring depth and interest to any room.
